1. Master image optimization

The master image is the focal point of your mosaic, so selecting the right one is crucial. We recommend a clear, high-contrast image with vibrant colors and visual complexity, as large monochromatic areas do not render well in mosaic form. Please provide 3-4 image options, and we’ll offer feedback to guide your selection.

2. Processing & evaluation

Using a combination of advanced software tools and manual refinement, we generate and optimize your mosaic artwork. We can adjust tile opacity to emphasize either the master image or the individual photo tiles, depending on your preference. This phase often involves experimenting with different master images to achieve the perfect visual balance.

3. Adding features

To enhance the final artwork, we can incorporate custom elements such as titles, logos, or graphic overlays. Whether it’s for a corporate event, memorial, or celebration, we can tailor the mosaic to align perfectly with your intended application.

4. PDF Proofing

Before we move to print production, we provide medium-resolution PDF proofs for you to review. This allows you to assess the overall composition, color balance, and any added features like titles or logos. At this stage, we can make adjustments to ensure the mosaic looks exactly as you envisioned. Your feedback is crucial, and we’re happy to refine the design until you’re completely satisfied.

5. Web Proofing

Web proofs allow you to zoom in on individual tiles, giving you a detailed view of the mosaic. Click the link below to try it out.

For printed artwork, web proofs let you inspect the individual tiles before final production. For web-based applications, they provide the best way to preview the final product.
